James Taylor received his B.A. in English literature and educational philosophy from Messiah College, his M.A. in literature from Bridgewater University, his Ed.S. in educational leadership from Bridgewater University, and his Ed.D. in educational administration from Georgia Southern University. Taylor attends Calvary Baptist Temple and lives by Philippians 2:3, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.” Taylor’s greatest joy is to see Christ’s truth take root in the lives of young people. He is amazed to watch their worldviews become deliberately and intricately intertwined with the creator of the universe. Taylor challenges his students to live deliberately in the pattern of 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” In his spare time he loves bicycling (mountain biking and road riding) and kayaking. His wife and two children are the absolute loves of his life.
