Kim Clay - Lower School Administrative Assistant

Kim Clay earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Lander University in Greenwood, SC. Prior to becoming a mother, her professional career focused mainly on sales and customer service. Since 2004 Kim has served in many capacities with the Froebel Circle, which provides free summer camps for disadvantaged children at the Fresh Air Home on Tybee Island. She has two sons at Calvary, Grant and Zach. She is proud of her husband who has served our country as a pilot in the Air Force and Air National Guard for over 30 years. Kim and her family attend Community Bible Church. Her favorite verse is “This is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  Psalms 118:24

Dottie Dauphinee - School Nurse

Dottie Dauphinee attended Armstrong State University where she obtained both her nursing degree and her BSW. She has been a member of Calvary Baptist Temple for 45 years. In her spare time she enjoys solving puzzle games, watching HGTV, playing with her three granddogs and spending time with her family. Her favorite Bible verses are Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” and I Corinthians 10:31, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” Both of these favorite verses are an inspiration to her because of her youngest son, Dustin, who went to be with our Lord on 04-06-10.

Lori Hearn

Lori Hearn received her B.A. in Psychology from Clemson University, M.A. in Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary, and M.A. in Special Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Lori attends Gateway Community Church in Pooler where she is in ministry with her husband Matt. She has two children attending Calvary, Emma and Jack. In her spare time Lori enjoys going to the beach, reading a good book, traveling to new places and convincing her husband to take her to Disney World. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11: “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”

Anna Hatch - Media Services Assistant

Anna Hatch received a B.A. in behavioral science with a concentration in family studies from Messiah College located in her beloved state of Pennsylvania. She attends Calvary Baptist Temple and continues to be challenged by Hebrews 12:1-2a, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith.” Hatch is excited to be part of the Calvary Day School family where she can share Truth that sets people free (Romans 8) and where she can come alongside students and staff to encourage them “in their race.” In her spare time, Hatch loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, laughing, and playing games.

Reba Holland - Upper School Administrative Assistant

Reba Holland received an administrative assistant degree from Draughons Junior College. She is an administrative assistant in the Upper School Office and has been at Calvary for 20 years. Holland attends First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale. One of her favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’” Holland, her husband, Jean, and their three sons are alumni of Calvary. She enjoys reading, going to the beach, traveling with her husband and spending time with her four beautiful grandchildren.

Beth Linebarger - Assistant Guidance Counselor

Beth Linebarger earned her B.S. and M.S. in Family and Child Development from Louisiana Tech University. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is excited to join the Calvary community. She attends Isle of Hope Methodist Church with her family, and her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Mary Ann Mulvehill - Digital Media Manager

Mary Ann Mulvehill is the Digital Media Manager for Calvary Day School. She attends Calvary Baptist Temple and claims Psalm 18:30 as her life verse, “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” She loves spending time with the love of her life, Patrick, and their two sons, Cameron and Cooper. She enjoys music, running, and most of all cuddling on the couch with her boys.

Karen Strickland - Lower School Administrative Assistant

Karen Strickland is a graduate of Jenkins High School, and she has worked at Calvary Day School since 2001. She attends Calvary Baptist Temple, and her favorite Bible verse is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” She is married to Mark and has two children, Brittany (a 2005 Calvary graduate), and Skylar (a 2012 Calvary graduate). Strickland’s hobbies are reading, spending time at the beach, and working in her yard.

Alan VanVleck - Director of Food Services

Alan VanVleck has been with Calvary Day School since 2009 as Director of Food Services. He enjoys serving the students and staff. He attends First Baptist of the Islands, and his favorite Bible verse is Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his 19 month old granddaughter, Brooke, who also shares the same birthday. His two children graduated from Calvary, and his wife also works in the finance department at Calvary.

Jennifer Wells - Upper School Administrative Assistant

Jennifer Wells received her associate degree in office administration from Trinity Baptist College. Wells attends Southwest Baptist Church where she is actively involved in the women’s and children’s ministries. Her life verse is Psalm 46:1, “God is my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family. Wells has two boys, Jacob, a 2014 Calvary graduate, and Thomas, a 2017 Calvary graduate. She is happily married to Wayne, who is the love of her life.
